Welcome!

Orientation runs from Tuesday August 29 through Thursday August 31.

These are considered their first days of school and we are taking attendance. 

Here’s what you need to know:

Special Hours for Orientation -

Tuesday 8:30 am to 2:15 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and Thursday 8:30 am to 2:10 pm

Start your Labor Day weekend on Friday - school is closed.

Arrival - Enter at 75 New Street, around the corner off Beaver Street.

Breakfast - Breakfast will be provided each day.

Lunch - Sandwiches, fruit, and snacks for orientation week. Full hot lunch service begins in September. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch from home.

Dress Code - Our policy requires a CSA top and stresses comfortable clothes that allow students to move, learn and create safely. 

CSA Dress Code 2023-24

Materials - We ask that each student come prepared with at least 2 pencils. CSA provides a pencil bag with extra pencils, a water bottle, technology, classroom materials and art supplies. Your class may ask for small donations during the year for special projects, but all the basics are provided. 

Dismissal - Takes place at the 75 New Street entrance. CSA always has staff at the door and on the street to ensure students meet their pickup person.

Students, get ready to: 

• Pick up your Chromebook, get your ID, and learn your locker combination.

• Take your first piano lesson with the famous Dr. K.

• Read a little, write a little, do a bit of math to get the feel of middle school.

• Make your first major art project and put it in your CSA digital portfolio.

• Meet teachers and get to know your way around the school.

• Start making middle school friends.
